Julio Gutierrez, DPM

About

Dr. Julio Gutierrez joined Upperline in 2023. He graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2020.

He completed his three year surgical residency at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami where he gained extensive experience working with renowned doctors in several specialties including foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, trauma, minimally invasive surgical techniques, diabetic care, and wound care. His training program also allowed him to treat professional athletes including athletes from the Miami Heat and InterMiami FC as well as collegiate athletes from Barry University and the University of Miami.

Dr. Gutierrez believes in exhausting all conservative measures before offering surgical treatment. From routine foot care to surgical reconstruction, he will always treat his patients with compassion and them informed during the process so they can make the best decision for themselves.

Dr. Gutierrez was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and now looks forward to exploring the Tampa Bay Area with his wife and their toddler son. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
