Born and raised in Tampa, she is a proud graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, where she earned her degree in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics, graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Pansara's academic achievements were accompanied by her athletic prowess, as she also received a cross-country scholarship.

Her journey into the world of medicine began at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Sciences, where she earned her medical doctorate. While in medical school, Dr. Pansara discovered her passion for ophthalmology and its unique blend of clinical patient care and micro surgeries.

She completed her residency in general ophthalmology at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital and Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Pansara's affinity for working with children and the complexities of diagnosing and treating strabismus led her to pursue a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the University of California San Diego, Ratner Children's Eye Center at the Shiley Eye Institute.

Dr. Pansara initially joined a small private practice before transitioning to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Ultimately, she and her family returned to Tampa to be closer to loved ones and serve the Tampa Bay community with her exceptional skills and expertise.
